Delete your account

Delete it yourself in the app

The quickest way is from inside the Talea app:

• Open Talea and go to Profile › Delete account.
• Type the phrase Delete Account to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

This permanently deletes your account immediately and signs you out. It cannot be undone.

Prefer that we do it for you?

If you can't access the app, email us at info@trytalea.com from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm a detail to verify it's your account, and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile (name and email) and all of the data associated with it, including your saved receipts, spending insights, invoices, quotes and any linked boxes.

What we may keep, and why

Because receipts can be tax records, we may retain a limited copy of receipt data for up to six years where we are required to for tax, accounting or legal compliance, after which it is deleted. We may also keep a minimal record of your deletion request to evidence that we acted on it. Nothing retained is used to identify or contact you for any other purpose. This mirrors our Privacy Policy.
